Learn to Train
Our Learn to Train Summer Program is where young athletes discover what it means to move well, feel strong, and genuinely enjoy training. Over ten weeks, we help them build the foundation every future elite athlete needs
This is the stage where athleticism is shaped for life. We focus on making training fun, building movement quality, and developing the values that carry athletes into their teen years with confidence, resilience, and the skills to thrive.
We teach movement first—because if an athlete can’t move well, strength and speed won’t matter. Athletes develop essential abilities like balance, coordination, rhythm, timing, tumbling, skipping, rolling, throwing, jumping, and sprinting. Once they move with confidence and fluidity, we begin layering in strength, then power, then speed, and finally durability. When young athletes get strong the right way, they naturally become faster, more powerful, more resilient, and more confident. And when they eventually enter the Learn to Compete stage, they’re already ahead—because their foundation was built properly.
Above all, our mission is clear: help athletes fall in love with the gym. We know we've succeeded when they leave smiling, energized, and excited to return. Training should never feel like a punishment or a chore—it should feel like a place they want to be, where they feel confident and supported. When training is fun and meaningful, everything changes: self-confidence rises, athletic ability improves across every sport, and long-term consistency becomes effortless. At this age, athletes need very little stimulus to grow—when training is done right, progress is inevitable.

Our approach blends structure with freedom—the perfect balance for developing athletes. Kids today are often over-coached and over-scheduled, so we create an environment where they can learn and progress while still having the freedom to play, explore, and simply be kids. Because at this stage, play is training.
A typical session includes 30–40 minutes of athletic development and 20–30 minutes of learning proper movement patterns. Every athlete begins with bodyweight only, and when they earn a progression, they receive it—individually and thoughtfully. Our coaching is always personalized, never one-size-fits-all. The goal isn’t to create the best nine-year-old in the gym. The goal is to help them become their best when it matters most, typically between ages 18 and 20, and every year beyond. —Long before specializing, burning out, or getting injured ever becomes a risk.
Learn to Train athletes also receive added support, including a shooting and stick-handling program, a simple athlete-friendly guide to sleep and nutrition, and access to our weekly mentorship sessions that build character, confidence, and leadership.
If you’re ready to build your young athlete’s foundation for long-term success, now is the perfect time. Spots are limited, and the impact lasts for years. Give them the training, support, and confidence they need to thrive.
